For us, our customers are the best part about this job so when we get inquiries about designing very special custom pieces of jewelry for them, it’s a bit mind-blowing to think that out of all of the designers out there, they came to us. The interesting thing about doing custom work is as a designer, you have to table your own taste and style preference in order to truly collaborate with your client on what he or she wants. Sometimes it’s something very specific, other times it can take a couple of rounds to get to the final design. Your job is to create their best piece of jewelry and still be proud to call it your work. And we love that challenge. Nothing beats making our customers happy.
For this engagement ring, I worked with the groom-to-be on designing the perfect ring for his best gal. We worked on a couple of rounds before arriving at this combination of a modern vintage aesthetic. Then he took his adorable bride-to-be (and the ring!) to the top of Little Monadnock Mountain where he proposed in Fitzwilliams, New Hampshire.
For this wedding band, we love all things unique and this rad bride was no exception. Evan reached out with initial thoughts on her wedding band before deciding that she wanted to incorporate some art similar to her tattoo, a design of waves and wind. I loved the significance of it all and we created a simple and meaningful band to go with her silver and turquoise engagement ring.
Thanks to our amazing clients, Katie Lee and Evan O’Connell, for sharing these photos with us and including Kalaki Riot on your very special days. Congrats again!
